My Story. My Motivation.
Through a series of events following my retirement from the US Marine Corps, I realized that my family's financial advisor was not providing the level of value commensurate with the AUM fee schedule he was charging. While my family was undergoing several life-changing events, our advisor failed to listen to our needs and our specific situation. We didn't matter - we were just a nameless, faceless allowance he received each quarter. It wasn't until he received the paperwork to transfer our accounts that he was suddenly willing to negotiate. By then, it was too late. I decided to take over the management of our investments.....yes, I became a DIYer and quickly realized I had a passion for this field of work.
This experience inspired a commitment to further educating myself and passing along that knowledge to others. I aim to ensure my clients have the tools to make informed financial decisions for themselves and their families. I want them to receive the respect and personalized services they deserve. I am a staunch advocate for fiduciaries that provide efficient planning at a clearly articulated fee! If you know anything about the finance industry, you'll quickly realize that I don't subscribe to the AUM fee schedule. I'm part of a movement that has recently started gaining traction- truly fee-only service.

The following beliefs guide me in all that I do, both personally and professionally, as a fiduciary: Do what's right. All the time. Every time.
Make the right decisions at the right time for the right reasons.
