My Story

Through a series of events following my retirement from the US Marine Corps, I realized that my family's financial advisor was not providing the level of value commensurate with the fee schedule he was receiving. While my family was undergoing several life-changing events, our advisor failed to listen to our needs and understand our situation. We didn't matter - we were just a nameless, faceless allowance he received each quarter. It wasn't until he received the paperwork to transfer our accounts that he was suddenly willing to negotiate. By then, it was too late!

This experience inspired me to commit to further educating myself and passing along that knowledge to others out there like me. I aim to ensure that others have the tools to make informed financial decisions for themselves and their families and that they receive all the dignity, empathy, and personalized service they deserve. I am a staunch advocate of low-cost, efficient planning!

The following beliefs guide me in all that I do, both personally and professionally, as a fiduciary: Do what's right. All the time. Every time. Strive to make the right decisions at the right time for the right reasons.
